I'm pleased at the ESMC X72. Glad I'll finally be able to have a CN car (or two in this case) from Bryan... moar CN means moar happiness.

That Bowser GMD SD40-2 thing's got me down, though... wrong scale.

I had a good time attending the show, hanging out with friends, and seeing everyone at the show.

It was my second time and this time I went with Tim & John and dragged my better half as well.  There wasn't much dragging though, she had a great time.

Brian (always like talking trains with him) convinced me on my next ESM car. 
Russ told some good stories at the Conrail table.
Bob (+1) looked great and had the PRR signal sample
Mike is making it hard not to buy Rapido (love the NH heavyweights)
Cory is always willing to take heat for C55 with a smile
Matt's CanStock cars looked sweet
The BLI/PCM guys promised the PA's after Chinese New Year
Didn't see the Digitrax booth, but heard Rich wasn't there

Didn't see Craig from BLMA or the Bluford guys

And the layouts were all over in terms of quality

Definitely is a show worth attending at least once

Also, regarding the Atlas PS3 hopper — the revised pilot model on display had body-mounted couplers.

I will find out today...we are test shooting the shell and deck and have shots of the railing as well.  So far everything looks good.  Chassis are finished I understand and Digitrax is working on a drop in decoder that may be ready when these release.   More later.
