Im looking for the axle diameter...not length... of FVM wheels. I dont have any on hand to take the calipers to. I am looking to use the 28" wheels for some MOW equipment I  making in Shapeways.

Thanks  in advance!

Hmm... close, but no

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

I don't have these handy, but I think that the axle has 2 diameters. The outer sections are smaller diameter than the section between the wheels. This is done to keep them in the exact gauge (the wheels are pressed until the rest against the larger diameter section).
. . . 42 . . .

Peteski, that's correct; the outer axle diameter, where the wheel is seated, is .046".
