Unrelated to the accident (I hope), but the pictures I saw seemed to show a third rail, while the loco looked to be a diesel. Do they use dual-power locomotives, or is it diesel powered, or was that just a piece of old rail I saw?
It appears there is an interlocking several thousand feet north of the accident site.Sam
