Jason,Awesome video, beautiful loco. However, the scenery work, rock work and all of your layout shows what a true artist you are.
Jason, you're onto something. It's more of a "look" in regards to how the loco was exposed to the "elements". Hot, arid conditions and a blazing sun coupled with poor water quality made for a faded, rusty (in some spots), water stained behemoth. I'll have to look through my "library" for an example. Jason's weathering captures a "9" as a well worked hauler that has seen some of the aforementioned conditions. IMHO, weathering gives motive power or rolling stock uniqueness and "character"....
