Ooh, I might bite on a B&O caboose (Chessie scheme) for run-through service on the Seaboard System in the pre-CSX years.

You just beat me to this.  Just saw the announcement on Facebook.  Perfect compliment to the newest B&O steamer.

I have no B&O engines but I will most likely pick one of these up just for the heck of it!

Rumour has it that pre sales of the Chessie unit were brisk from a Re Store in Maryland ......

I was actually just pondering what to do for a Chessie caboose. I had been looking for an Athearn bay window, or maybe a trainman magor, but they're tough to come by around here.

These perfectly fit the bill.

Would have loved to see this come with an update on their announced H30 hoppers...

Ed,

I have a few Atlas Extended Vision cabooses and a Magor caboose in the Chessie scheme (probably C&O), and I could probably donate one or two to the "dueling layouts."

There must be a lot of happy B&O guys out there! Good for you!
But like Dave, I'd like to see an update on the H30's; unlike the cabooses, the hoppers went just about EVERYWHERE....

Oh, you'll definitely have to bring them to Ops sessions.
