I know they were used for hauling manure to the mushroom farms on the Octoraro Branch.  That's make for a unique load!

If you want to be prototypical, how would you adjust the smell for N-scale?  What would you use as a  correction factor to reduce this to scale? :?

It's one thing to look like the prototype, another to sound like the prototype, but adding the smell of the prototype would take realism to another level!  I can imagine odor will be the next feature to add to models...   :D

There was a company called Olfactory Airs (don't know if they're still around) that made all sorts of scents (hot oil, stock car smell, cut lumber, etc.) way back in the 70s(?)-80s. So the idea isn't new.

Hmm... I wonder if they
made that funky "Kiz"
aroma...?

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

We called that fresh country air.  Did I mention that I grew up just slightly more than a stone's throw from the Octoraro branch?   :D

Weren't some of those also used to mov offal (guts and innards) of dead cows, pigs etc to plants for processing for who knows what.  Read the stench was worse than anything on those and train crews dreaded hauling them.

Now the bad news, I will only be releasing 17 GRa's for sure with the slight possibility of 34 as a max. Sorry, there are good reasons that I cannot go into right now.
Bob,
I have just put one on the wish list on your site.

I'm gonna stir the pot and ask again about G22b decals. Peteski offered to do them (in white) but didn't want to step on Bob's or DKS's toes. I know those guys are busy so please don't think me a nag.
I guess I'm just looking for a little reassurance the decals will be made for these awesome cars and containers.

I'll be in for 2 of those GRa classes. Did they go in to MOW? Wouldn't mind a set of MOW decals if they did.

I am in for one set of decals for G22, H30 and H30a, which are all here waiting to be built  :|
Color for the cars would be Pennsy Freight Car Color, so the decals should be all white.  If black decals were available, I might do one of the covered hoppers in grey.

I have sources to print decals.

I want to include the Conrail version too, but I need to get a good vector logo and the correct TTF font first. Stay tuned.

Getting REAL close to printing these puppies. All I need remaining is some help with N&W fonts / logos to add the HC1 to the list:
http://spec.lib.vt.edu/imagebase/norfolksouthern/full/ns2152.jpeg
There are at least 4 different fonts on this car (counting the big N&W).

So far, here will be the options for the H30 and H30a.

Throw me on that list for a GRa.
When did the H30 and H30a enter service and what's the difference between the two?
The MOW version just made things interesting...

Bob,
I said it before, but I'll say it again. I'm in for 4 (2 for me, 2 for Lemosteam) GRa kits. Maybe even a H30 if you do MOW decals.

Can I somehow reserve them with you?

Bob,
Since it seems like these decals are going to be a one shot deal, is there any chance of adding decals for the K7a to the mix?
Never argue with idiots; they'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
