That's because it's a second tier railroad I think I better go and hide now
I know this sounds mean and awful, but I don't know any other way to phrase it...so please don't take offense.Since I don't own--or plan to own any time soon--a decal printer, kits without available decals are not really of any use to me. If a separate company like Microscale offers them, that's great, but neither the G22 nor the H30 series have decals readily available. I keep hearing that someone plans to do the G22 decals (which is great, since I have one), but so far it's been talk. I don't relish the idea of "kitbashing" decals for an H30 since the dim data would have to be cut from individual letters and numbers less than a millimeter tall.EDIT: Bob, I see the artwork; that's awesome! I have no idea how one would turn those drawings into decals even if I had the printer, though. How do you separate the color from the letters?
Several points,1 Decals are available, but they're dry transfers from CDS. I have some for the G22, H30, and the K7. Mount Vernon shops has water slide decals for the N6.2 I thought DKS was going to do the decals.3 Peteski offered to do the decals, but backed out do to possible DKS involvement. Maybe Peteski needs to be asked to do this, since he aleady offered.4 Can decal artwork for the GRa be made available?5 Any chance for an H32?
Right, I know... Although I want at least 1 gray H30, I also want at least one in freight car red. The G22 also needs white, obviously.
You can always apply the dry transfers to clear decal film.
