Have any of the insider asshats heard anything new since Fox Valley Models' initial announcement of their PRR H30 hoppers?  I'm itching to pre-order a bunch.

Original flyer said "winter".

Right...  And since it's already snowed here in Colorado a few times, I call winter!   :D

Seriously, though, if it's due in a few months I'd expect to see pre-order info with paint schemes and road numbers.  There are something like a dozen schemes for this car including N&W.

If you get tired of waiting, you know where the originals are!

LOL. Nice comeback! :P
I have 5 of your H30 and H30a, but I'm still hoping you will etch some nice H32 so that I can round out my PRR covered hopper fleet!  :D
Cheers,
Scott

+1 on the H32.

Seriously!

If you can point me to decals I may take you up on this.

Anyone who wants the artwork can have them . . . . Free!

I am good at artworks, suck at doing decals. Whomever wants them to give it a try, email me and I will send the AI file.

I know this sounds mean and awful, but I don't know any other way to phrase it...so please don't take offense.

Since I don't own--or plan to own any time soon--a decal printer, kits without available decals are not really of any use to me.  If a separate company like Microscale offers them, that's great, but neither the G22 nor the H30 series have decals readily available.  I keep hearing that someone plans to do the G22 decals (which is great, since I have one), but so far it's been talk.  I don't relish the idea of "kitbashing" decals for an H30 since the dim data would have to be cut from individual letters and numbers less than a millimeter tall.

EDIT:  Bob, I see the artwork; that's awesome!  I have no idea how one would turn those drawings into decals even if I had the printer, though.  How do you separate the color from the letters?

No offense taken. I have known it. Trouble is that I do not have a working ALPS printer. The file with all of the layering is done and this is the file I am offering to anyone whom would like to print them. It has the G22b, K7a, N6b, H30 & H30a.

Dave .. why couldn't you use any of the other PRR decal sets that are already available?

John, to do it right would require kitbashing dim data.  I did it ONCE...  and hated it.  None of the commercial PRR sets include proper class and dim data for G22 or H30.

Thanks Bob...!  I don't own an Alps printer either, and as much as I've wanted to it hasn't risen high enough toward the hobby budget cut line.

The last time I was looking around I was surprised how few PRR decal sets have been made.
