New caption contest.
First entry: Dr. Hotballs makes a house call.

Second Entry: I miss The JD and had to see me some PA railroading - This whole Rocky Mountain thing is over rated.

1. Ed, when is the layout coming down? Do you have a rough date?

2. Any mention of the Olson twins makes me think of this picture: :lol:

And lastly, just to prove I wasn't bullshitting about having to kick everyone out to get to the symphony.

(Attachment Link)

Ed what venue is that ?

I have had the same issue, (get me to the symphony on time) but I am usually on the stage.

No kidding!

It's the Meyerhoff in Baltimore: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Meyerhoff_Symphony_Hall

We're actually heading there twice this week (insane, I know). Tomorrow for John Williams (holy crap) and then thursday for Audra McDonald.

What do you play?

I liked it when Ed asked Google for a solution...I was wondering if he'd slip upstairs and ask Alexa....

Tired old subject matter. Just more coal for Baltimore.

However, I shot this with my 40D. I'm working on getting the hang of it. So far though, I'm still concerned about raw pixel count. I often need to do a good bit of cropping to get the shots I want and I'm just not getting stuff I can work with.

But here's the test shot with some cleanup.

Is this really just an issue of needing to sack up and get something more modern?

Hell no...go the other way...filthy, wheezing, 4 axle patch job lashups where the crew has arthritis from keeping their fingers crossed so tight hoping to make terminal to terminal....

Lol. No no, I mean the camera, not the power.

Next layout though? Clapped out Alcos and worn GPS.

Great photo, but could you zoom in on the front wheel of the rear truck on the 6366?

Lesson: don't take pictures of anything unless you run it over the photo area first.

Haha. I checked I think that's actually on the rail. It just looks weird due to the glare or something. That said... in a photo, the way it looks is ALL that matters.

Obviously that one's not making the GMR cover.

What's with the funky sky coloration?
