Went to Ed's open house today, it was nice to see this layout in real life, it gives a whole different perspective to the layout you see in pictures.

I brought my video camera with me and decided to film the train running around the layout. I am glad I did, Windsor Street gave lots of good photo ops!

Besides - if we had done a TRW family photo we’d have had to exclude His Most Excellent Royal Highoersonish Rick Spano and we can’t do that. I can however now cross “Talk Trains with Rick Spano” off my bucket list.

Having op'd Ed's layout with half a dozen asshats and realizing just how crowded that basement can get, I can only imagine the logistics of having 30 people down there.

It really was an amazing day. I'm so glad you all had a good time.

One of the chief aims of the new house is to have a BIGGER space for the gang so it's NOT quite so tight in the layout room (TWSS??).
