I can't decide if the scene begs for a thicker tree line, or at minimum a painted (or realistic) background to add depth (the white is no longer neutralizing IMO and is turning into a scene detractor).  The real reason for this nitpick is the landscape shot reveals it (in a tighter shot it is not an issue I am sure). 

Oh yeah, without a doubt. Resolving that is high on my todo list.
I'm thinking both is the solution: more underbrush and a photo backdrop too.

Now that the MMMT has passed through, I got some more scenery done at CP Loucks between Hanover Junction and the main yard.

They're the finest signals my laser printer can make!

I've got a couple Alkem ones to assemble, but beyond that I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. I'd love to have them all be operational, but at $300/interlocking, that's making me nervous.

Actually, they're just some push pins I was using to hold the track in place while glue dried.

Ed, That is unique, I've been using T pins my entire life. What is the Brand name of your push pins?  Also the cross-over on a curve looks fantastic, two thumbs up  :)

They came from Michaels. I forget the brand name though.

Oh, and that crossing? It's handy, and it worked out pretty well, but it's still a bit problematic operationally. I think it's mostly because I haven't been able to glue the track on the bridge down yet (can't do that until the piers are done) and there is a bit of a kink.

It's definitely a "slow speed" crossover, but I'm glad it was able to fit!
