In other news, put decoders in a bunch more locomotives yesterday. I was feeling an early-Conrailesque power shortage. But no longer.

1. Finding some good photography to use for the backdrop.
2. December, so I can go shoot some photography to use for the backdrop.

That's an interesting idea, actually. Although, it's in the middle of an active facility that's bounded by tracks on all sides.

I found this the other day, and thought of your layout....Rigby yard, S.Portland, Maine.....A couple of dumpsters and tie stacks and you're there!

What I like about this picture is the negative space.  Yards are vast, and there's usually a lot of empty areas.
