Awesome and inspiring work here, incredibly real looking, the scenery is perfect as it has that organic look to it , this forum is full of top notch cutting edge modeling. 8)

I laid down some masking tape, and then dusted my roadbed color over the edges. Then I pulled up the tape and glued it down.

You can see the effect here.

I really like the way the train undulates...  reminds me of a real shortline bouncy bounce clickety clack...

I can't decide if the scene begs for a thicker tree line, or at minimum a painted (or realistic) background to add depth (the white is no longer neutralizing IMO and is turning into a scene detractor).  The real reason for this nitpick is the landscape shot reveals it (in a tighter shot it is not an issue I am sure). 

All I can think of is that Strasburg shot on the old Kidney that was possibly IMO one of your top 3 shots ever (another one being the recent shot "over the bank and through the trees into the yellow box car)... the depth of field was so great...  it makes you forget about the train and focus on the scenery.

you gotta admit, peer pressure is a bitch.
