Grease Shack SSS

Thanks to a CP employee for taking a picture of a “Grease shack”, I was able to add some “Canadian flavor” to my layout. I printed the PDF, cut it out leaving a border, then glued it to the styrene with rubber cement. I cut the walls and roof (I took some liberties with the roof and it is different) from some .040 corrugated siding styrene, using a SERB (Single Edged Razor Blade). The paper template peels off easily. I then put the pieces in my sanding jig and sanded the edges to a perfect 45° angle. This makes for smooth wall joints. I then assembled, using Ambroid Pro-weld glue. Next was painting and weathering. Card board grease tube boxes were cut from balsa (I was going to cut and fold these from grocery bags but realized that it was me doing this and not some origami miniature expert). Railroad ties were made from 1/16” basswood. Pictures were taken using my micro mini tripod. First pic is prototype shot.

The only problem I can see with my location of the shack is if some errant campers get confused and decide to make a deposit in the wrong house. This could lead to a grievance being filed by some RR workers for hazardous duty involving shoe doo-doo.
