Send Jeff an e-mail and I am sure he will fix you up..... He's not back in "Da Peg" till late this week.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I ordered an undec flat from Credit Valley - they apparently got everything but I their first shipment. They've been good about keeping up the communication so I'm not worried.

According to the Credit Valley Railway, Prairie Shadows has announced a second run of the gondolas for Algoma Central, BC Rail, and Pacific Great Eastern. Also some US roads - CR, DRGW, LV, WM, RDG, NYC, SP.

Pud... please explain to me where the CP Script gons are!?!?

I need to back up from my first question and ask if anyone ordered direct and if you were contacted that your cars were available.

I haven't received anything yet from Prairie Shadows.

Yes, I ordered directly from Prairie Shadows by e-mail on Sept 13 and received an e-mail  on Jan 19 saying the cars were ready to ship.  I phoned PS on Jan 20 with a credit card number and received my cars on Jan 27.  Sorry, I missed that the original question was directed to members in the 48 contiguous states.

Regards,

Thanks. I dropped an E-Mail to PS to see what's going on.  I know I confirmed my order via E-Mail, hopefully there're no issues.

I need to back up from my first question and ask if anyone ordered direct and if you were contacted that your cars were available.

I believe I recieved an e-mail back in Dec (I think) that said they were on the way and customers would be contacted blah blah blah.   I never got contacted, plus I wanted to try and get two more tacked onto the order so I contacted Jeff last week.  He replied "no prob" and said he was travelling and it would be a few days before he followed up.  (something to that effect, don't quote me)   Don't think I'd sweat it at this point...maybe fire off an e-mail just in case.
NOTE: I'm no longer active on this forum.   If you need to contact me, use the e-mail address (or visit the website link) attached to this username.  Thanks.

The direct order question was for anybody/everybody.  I was curious if anyone had been contacted for payment info yet.

That information was at Springfield in the form of line artwork for all the second run schemes.  True, no CP script from what I remember.  I'm surprised no one mentioned this news in the show thread.

Never existed AFAIK.

These cars were built in the 1950s, the script was introduced in the early 1960s, and I've never seen a gon that was repainted into script. CP's shops didn't like to paint over ribs. (See action red cars from the 1970s: new cars had the CP Rail lettering at a consistent spacing regardless of the presence of car body ribs. Repainted older cars never once had the lettering on top of a rib, it was all spaced out on the panels. CP was happy to make the builders letter over the ribs, but they wouldn't stencil it that way themselves.)

Well that would explain why no Script... pity, a favourite of mine.

On the plus side, covers are not out of the question:

Needs more Conrail  :D
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Is this model correct for the Algoma Central cars?  I am seeing Algoma Central gondolas in pictures at Dawson Creek.
