  • Main Entry Stairs & sloped Disabled Walkway (U-shaped, Resin & SS)

Why do you want to disable the walkway?  :D  Oh, you mean the alt-enabled...

Make sure that meets ADA design specs for that wheelchair ramp - maximum 1:12 slope ratio; minimum 5’ x 5’ flat area at the top and bottom of ramp; minimum 36” clear space across ramp; no more than 30’ of ramp prior to a rest/turn platform; and handrails on both sides of ramp.  Might as well include an etched wheelchair or two with the ramp as well.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

I'd like to see skylights added to the list, maybe a modular kit that could be built to diff lengths/widths.

Unfortunately that dust collector is too modern for me, but I'd spring for almost everything else. Well, except for the wheelchair ramp--also too modern.

How about full length loading dock overhangs?

And dock door cushions if I don't want overhangs?

Have some images of older ones? I don't mind having a retro and a modern.

Ian, It's difficult in competing with cutting a strip of styrene or wood to make a overhang. I would really like to do one with ornate supports, but worry about the marketability.

I have not commited either way to doing this item.

N Scale Window Mounted AC Units:

If they were fabricated out of chemically etched brass, they are BLMA stock number 609 (a twelve pack of two different sizes and six different styles).

http://www.blmamodels.com/cgi-bin/webstore/shop.cgi?ud=CAgFAAgMAAMCBxQUEBEcHAIBBg8BAQAECQkTEQAA&t=main.red.htm&storeid=1&cols=1&categories=02002-00015&&c=detail.red.htm&t=main.red.htm&itemid=609

If they were cast out of pewter, they were Period Miniatures stock number 2127 (the ex Alloy Forms product).

Miller Engineering also made etched metal window units, similar in construction to the BLMA version.

Got an email from a TB member on the Miller A/C too. I am also going to pass on small rooftop A/C since they are already made.

I am off to the races for those retro Cyclone Dust Collectors, and rooftop structures like Elevator Machine Rooms, Stair Access, Skylights, Exhaust Fans, etc.

External Dust Collector has been completed. Here are pics that I modeled it after:

Will include piping, motor and intake chute. Should be a nice looking kit. So the tally is:
  • Stairs and Entry Platform for side door  Complete
  • Main Entry Stairs & sloped Disabled Walkway (U-shaped, Resin & SS)
  • Main and Side Door Overhangs  Not Cost Feasible
  • External Freight Elevator  Not Cost Feasible
  • Industrial Fire Escapes  Complete
  • Industrial half-turn Stairs (would require user making column of windows into doors)
  • Roof Chiller  In-Process
  • Upgraded Windows (double hung and swing open type)  Complete
  • Horizontal Panel Doors that simulate internal rollups  Complete
  • Wood doors with windows & external bracing  Complete
  • External dust collector  Complete

Those dust collectors are going to be awesome.

Late to the party, but how about an alternate option for towers for the ME tall steel trestle? Not a bridge expert, but every steel trestle I see in N screams ME because of those towers.
