I'm really liking what you have going on in a small space. You're right that a small layout can scratch the itch sometimes better than a huge one. There's something to be said for getting a layout to a reasonably complete stage in a short period of time.

Your industries look great. I like the two large ones and the one with the track going underneath but still being able to see the cars is a nice touch. Great job and keep the updates coming!

Glad you like it.Doing this one has convinced me to put my home layout on a diet.

This is what I've done since noon yesterday. :D The building your referring to is going to be replaced with a scratchbuilt version of a simular design but with a bigger foot print.Yesterday I made the roof for the warehouse and built the office.Today the office roof,a coat of primer ans some basic scenery work.

One thing I have learned the hard way is the more you want to get something done the longer the takes to get it done.Anyway here are some update pics of the Onandaga Sub.I really wanted to get more done, but this will do for the next show which is not till April.  :D

Anyway in no particular order four update pics more to come from the show on Saturday.

I like how this is coming together .. this is modern railroading .. lots of concrete warehouses in nondescript industrial parks ..

Despite being a roundy-round this is one of the most realistic modern industrial areas I've seen, in fact you don't even notice it's just a classic loop at first because of the way the realistically scaled industries block out the scenes.  Really looking cool, it's nice to see some proper industries and not the classic "tiny brick shed next to the track" industries we're so used to.

The only thing I'd advise is that your road line is wayyyy too thick.  Good and correct road markings will really elevate this scene's quality

I think a lot could be gained by narrowing the sidewalks to one width of those squares allowing the road, itself to be wider.  I agree about the lines also.
