But when you think about.. If your still in R&D and you can't decide between an N scale drop in or a Z scale drop in, or the decoder that FMV is using, or some new decoder. All answers would lead to YES.. it is "DCC Ready".I don't think we're looking to hear "It takes a DZ155XPNFT series 4 Decoder".. We just want to hear "Yes, somehow you will be able install DCC in it without a machine shop and surgical soldering iron."

I'm not saying don't pressure - and Ian's correspondence seems to suggest that its working. I'm saying let's not make definitive statements about what is or isn't until MT makes definitive statements about what is or isn't. Let them finish for Conrail's sake before you indict them for their process.
I'd want BN ones...but DCC compatibility is gonna be a big selling point for me.And what is the "Some assembly required," entail? Is it going to be installing handrails and a few detail parts? Or will it be, heres a box with all the parts, have at it.
Must be a misunderstanding...no assembly will be required, sub assembly or god forbid, modeling required on the SW1500 shell. Take a deep breath...there... Joe
