Couldn't agree more on all points! The question about DCC has gone unanswered. Any info on that Joe?Best wishes, Dave
Will these come with graffiti?
First ever post. It takes this release to make it happen. Awesome! Please Please do Indiana Harbor Belt in all black with orange lettering.
If Atlas can do DCC on the Alco S units, I don't think it'll be that hard to do it on an SW1500.
We are going to be talking to the DCC Mfgs to see what we can use in this application. not much room for much of anything.
Joe, There are some on here who might strongly disagree. But, N scale is at the point where you have to get at least where a Plug N Play decoder will go in it. If not, it will have a negative impact on sales. That is from a dealer's point of view and that's a plain fact.
Around 25 years ago, one of the first (if not THE first) DCC *equipped* n-scale locomotives was the Arnold S-2. It's been at least 5 years since Atlas and Kato had drop-in DCC capability in similarly sized switchers.
