Now that I've found out my stock issued a 20% dividend, I can breathe ea$ier.

I know it's wishful thinking that MTL might do some New Orleans Public Belt SW1500s.

Hmm... it's more like
hallucinating...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

You`ll never find a Philly cheese steak on a menu in Philadelphia. It`s called a cheesesteak and we all know where it`s from...

I hope that they will do a Flexicoil version.
I can't imagine that with all those owned and so-equipped by the SP and GN, that they wouldn't.

First thing I thought of as well. A part needed for SW1200RS's and some lightweight GP9's.

Wow, that is big news.

I have often thought that a switcher would be a natural for MTL, since the number of roadnames is substantial.

Please don't let us down with the lack of Flexicoil trucks.

I’m not here to argue

Cool announcement.   Not something I have to have, might get a BN though.

Can't believe nobody has asked the million dollar question....DCC?  Maybe that's not even a question anymore, but who knows.   I would think with their expertise with cramming decoders into Z-scale locos it's a given though.

What I'm dying to know, is....

Will MT do one scheme like every 3-4 months starting with an obscure Shortline that owned one total or multiples Class I schemes per batch?

I am hoping they do the Flexicoil trucks sometime down the line.  I could use some Reaing and RF&P one with these trucks.  Gotta say I am surprised thatMTL is the first to do these locomotives and I know they will sell well.  Atlas doing the Alco S units and now this answers a lot of wish lists for locomotives.

That's it! I'm never doing another kitbash of anything again! I'm batting 1000 on having everything I've ever bashed become available commercially....most of which became available or was announced before I was even done with the bash. I've got 1 SP SW1500 done and 2 almost ready for paint now!

Stunning news.

Never expected that out of MT.

Props to them for taking on the project.

It's a solid addition to the hobby.

I already have five of the LL SW12s... I'd only really be interested if someone knows whether BC Hydro had any SW1500s. Right now, I can't find their roster to refer to, and I don't have it memorized.

It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

Couldn't agree more on all points!

The question about DCC has gone unanswered. Any info on that Joe?

Best wishes, Dave
