In spite of proximity to my in-laws, I am not making this year's trek. Someone needs to get an a$$hat group picture though. Enjoy.

I'll be there, with two tables Friday and Saturday. There was no way I could interest my wife in the rest of the convention--she is willing to help but does, after all, have Ph.Ds in both sociology and anthropology, has authored about a dozen books, and was the associate provost of a major university.

Please come by and introduce yourself, as I doubt I'll be wandering the floor during show hours. Love to go out for drinks or dinner with any of the bacon cabal!

I doubt  anyone entering a passenger car into the contest is looking forward to see in you there :D

But I will like to see your work!

Oh no, she loves to hang out! Like Karen Allen, she can drink me under the table. And is very discreet about her observations of cavemen far before they became troglodytes. Hate to brag but she is one of the world's authorities on political revolutions, and the development of us trogs from bonobos to sapiens. I do think that workshops on superdetailing locos or computer-generated switch lists are not on her agenda for new learning experiences. How she and I got together is like a Douglas Adams invention rivaling the Improbability Drive. She would love to meet you all!

Glad to see whose coming to Milwaukee next week.   I will be there.  My layout is on the Wednesday layout tour so be sure to say HI if your coming by.  I will be with the Milwaukee-N-Southeastern Club at the show on Friday and Saturday, stop by and say HI.

If you have any questions about stuff to do or railfanning in the area let me know.

Looking forward to next week.
