8... but I've been out of the printing industry for 4 years as of Monday so my eye is no longer in the "pro" leagues; I'm kinda like a "beer league colour guy" now... I mean, I used to be able to mix "Labatt's Blue' in oil based paste inks at 0200 hrs while running the press and ignoring the foreman..... oh well............... ;)
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I got a 27, but I blame part of this on my impatience. Seriously....

The graphic that Mike posted is a bit odd. What is with the banding in the color bar? It doesn't look like a continuous color shift, but what do I know....I got a 27.

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!  I got the expected 58 on the color challenge.  I'm curious, though, to see how that rates against other colorblind people, because the range is 0 to 99.

I surprised myself (owing to my age), although being a trained artist and having worked in the graphic design, printing and photography/videography industries, I've needed a good eye.

If I get a poor score, doesn't that mean I should first update my monitor?

The object of the test is to discern very subtle differences in hue, as opposed to value or saturation. I believe some minor variations in value/saturation result in the banding.

You click and drag to move color swatches around.

No swatches to drag , nothing happens 'cept bigger , then smaller . Can not populate age group , or view a pull down menu .

I retested with more patience and a new technique of resizing the browser to just do one line at a time. Got a 7.... I hope this is good enough to keep Skibbe from making fun of me!

Best wishes, Dave

I got a 13, all in the greens. Just about what I expected, given 50 years in the printing industry. I did it on my laptop, and didn't spend much time, but I've known since my draft days that I was weak in the greens. More time or a better monitor wouldn't change much--I knew I was having problems with that band.

Mine were also all in the greens, two groups, one 3 blocks and the other 4, slightly out of place.  With fluorescent lights heavy on green, I wonder if that could affect the vision of people who work under them for long periods?  In my case, that's been over 40 years.

I did my test in the living room, at night, with the only light what comes from the bedroom door (compact fluorescent) and the monitor itself (a flat screen of some kind, probably LED or LCD)
