Just got the word....  Wow - right about the couplers....  Could be a hit or a miss.

Definitely upholds the myth about Kato and eastern roads - although some MAY see this as dispelling it as well.

Surprised on the roadnames....  A lot of people are going to be happy - and a lot of people angry about this.

I don't think anyone will be in the middle on this one.

Seriously I know NOTHING!

And I am still guessing some sort of oil or ethanol train.  It makes a lot of sense - very common these days....

No, one of these Bakken (sp?) Crude Oil trains - it's a big, big deal for the RR's right now...

The reality is that it probably isn't - I'm guessing to do the tank cars correctly is labor intensive and could push things above their price points...

Also they can re-use a lot of their container tooling with a new container car, which is also a hot property these days...

That would be even better in my books but honestly, how can new tooling in n scale be anything but good?  For those who keep muttering about Kato and their biases, they have Atlas and others to meet their needs.  It's all good.

...and give up trains, and become a hermit?   :?

I have no idea what Kato is planning, but I look forward to the announcement.

Just remember:  wherever you hear the announcement - don't forget - you heard it there first.

Just as a courtesy, maybe let us know that next time so we're not wasting time looking at Kato's site, Google, et al.   I thought you were suggesting it had been announced somewhere.
