One would think an S2 wouldn't be too hard.... Heavy Mt for the mech, we have 6 wheeled tender trucks that could pass, that huge boiler would lend it's self to lots of weight.....Oh geez, you got me thinking now.......damn you.......

I'm a little surprized I don't see more Northern/Texas conversions. That Bachmann shell doesn't look too unlike a J1.

Hey thanks Guys,

Obviously this project has been on hold for a while.  Here are the pics that drew me back in.  There is just something really awesome about this engine.




Max -the pilot truck is from an old Bachmann tender I believe.
