So I repeal my previously sarcastic comment; that is a pretty noticeable quirk

Ah, well that's just frustrating.  Time for an after-market decal?

Who wants to experiment on their PRR unit to see how easy the lettering comes off?  :scared:

Well, sense NS only has one unit, and FVM is making a couple thousand, the obvious solution is to badger NS to repaint their unit to match the model!!! :o :scared:

This is a first!  An incorrect fantasy unit!

That's pretty dang funny.  That and the followup about just having NS repaint the real unit are co-posts-of-the-year for me.

I seriously doubt this would pass by Matt as the decorated samples came back, so it has to be a factory error...

What makes you say that?  FVM has done some really great things and put out some very nice models, but they are also on the verge of developing a reputation for such errors.   Guess it finally will take SPF's to get their attention. (hopefully, anyway)

This highlights an advantage of the HCD layout.  Put the bad side towards the center of the table, and you'll never see it as it goes roundy-round in a counter-clockwise direction and only the engineer's side is visible.

Wow, just a page an a half in and Matt is already moving China to get this fixed!

Now that's service!
