The T1 engine and tender finally reunited at the NSE convention in Milwaukee. Behind it builders Jason and Hans.

One word for this pic.... "Mugshot".
Seriously, great talents joining up to make dreams realities!
Han's smile looks familiar... I had a similar one on Thursday night after the auction  :D  :D

Its the final push to complete the T1

The final details to complete are on the tender.  And I must say again the tender drive built by N-stars is an AWESOME MONSTER!!
This picture here shows the details of the tender being built.  Of course TIX FLUX is a must-

When building the radio equipment I used the B&O symbol off of the GMM sheet to simulate-

Here are the finished details-
Of note- The body work shown is from a flaw that I did :scared:  its been wet sanded numerous times.

And just about ready for paint!

Thanks Marc

Here is the engine with a little paint.  I must admit not the best T1 paint job.  Heavy weathering is hiding my poor pin stripping. :ashat:

Well played, sir.  I really enjoyed the video and watching that duplex drive.  I could watch that for hours, if it was running on my layout.

Jason, I think you should go back and redo the paint.  These were dirty engines, but I really think the heavy weathering detracts from how gorgeous the underlying model is.
