N scale loco from Rapido under way....

Maybe there is now hope for a 5 axle C-Liner , like what was done in HO . LIRR had 2 versions .

I could really think about getting an NAR unit, when they come out. Someone needs to do an NAR style bay window caboose to go with them, though, or, even better, one of the coach-cabooses.

The research has all been done by MBE for his HO caboose kit and I know someone who is looking at the idea of an N scale brass RTR version using Eric's info... keeping my fingers crossed but it's not a big stretch!

Cool looking loco.....cannot come up with a scenario as to why one would be seen roaming on my (California-themed) layout.

That said, those would have looked really cool in SP colors with the full lighting setup!

I can only imagine how crazy an ESM engine would be.

I can picture it now, an N scale live steam version of Strasburg's 1187.

If ESM ever were to do motive power, diesels and/or electrics would be first and it would be something with New Haven ties that also was present on other roads with a long lifespan.  Such as an EMD FL-9 or an EL-C Rectifier.

I think the question should be when will you be making those the EL-C would be nice!

Woah... Brass! That may change the price range a bit. Somebody needs to design an NAR caboose body and upload it to Shapeways.
