Oh yeah, that's PRR baby, and here is a similar PRR drawing for a large river bottom culvert (20') although the sides are flat and not a full radius like your picture (nice BTW):

That's like the one Alwyn was referring to Chris.  I knew I saw pics somewhere.  Sthandard PRR two rail stanchions on top too!

Maybe I'll produce some after these small ones.  There are two versions of drawings; 20 feet and 30 feet.  After that it the arch becomes a full blown bridge.

Ed, those are the Atlas viaducts, right? I don't know what part of Conrail you model (I'm assuming ex-PRR) and my knowledge on this isn't more than an inch deep, but weren't most PRR bridges more arched (like the Rockville Bridge) than semicircular? I know there's a prototype for everything and please don't think me criticizing you in any way. I'm just curious if the PRR favored one type over the other.

He's modeling the Northern Central...  and the vast majority of similar single-span bridges built prior to the 4-tracking were full arches like these.  These were even used in many places on the major improvements at the turn of the century like the A&S Low Grade Line.  Semi-circular single arches were used more often when clearance was at a premium, such as roads (I'm thinking of Main Street in Marysville, for example).

Damn, I think I almost got told! Lol.

I honestly hadn't thought of it.

My approach was "here's a readily available cheap piece that is close".

In reality, I'm much less fanatical than I pretend to be online.

But I'm glad Dave has my back. He's right about building an H6 though... Really gotta get on that.
