The problem is that after 1966, the Ford F-100 went through a redesign, so the 67 looks nothing similar.Don't get me wrong. I'd like either one, however, one could not substitute for the other.
How about a '67 longbed? One of the beauties of contemporary modeling is that you can have relics--as long as you don't have an unrealistic amount out there on your highways. I've seen way too many of those Mini Metals '50s Internationals pulling trailers on modern layouts, it's ridiculous. There's always room for old clunkers or restored classics, just remember: moderation.
I'll take one of these in N...already have two in 1:1!The S.
If you ever decide to sell one...
In a perfect world my first car will be a '42 Willies with a .30 mount in the back, and perhaps an accompanying 1/2 ton trailer.-Cody F.
For the record, it's spelled Willys and pronouned Willis. If you're planning to be the owner and full-time driver of any antique vehicle, hopefully you are mechanically inclined or you have sufficient funds to pay someone who is. When they say "they just don't make 'em like they used to..." they are not kidding.
Willys? What about Joe?And isn't yours a Ford?
To most folks in the classic car industry its pronounced "Willis" but ask any flat fender guy and its "Willies". Yes its wrong but...when in Rome. The S.
