So of course, everybody that's ever had a 70's Pinto, Gremlin, Chevette, Opel or Vega wants to recreate the memories!
Many of the muscle cars are out there in resin. But you know, visitors don't necessarily know trains. EVERYBODY knows cars. I've had more reaction to my '62 Corvette pulled over by the Route 66 Winslow sign than just about anything else. And the VW bugs and busses. So any way to put some of the classics that people recognize to establish the era??Oh yeah. This is cool. This is worth it.
For sure. An auto rack full of Gremlins or Pintos would set the era so solidly that nobody would have to ask "oh wow this is nice, what era are you modeling?"
Is this a rail forum? LOL
1966 Ford F100 long box (Sold to a collector)Out of all those, I wish I would have kept the F100, that thing had the factory 352, witch was orginal from the bolt on the air filter to the bolt on the oil pan. No rust, and low miles. If any of them were offered in N scale, eventhough they are all out of my era, I would buy them, and find a way to use them on a layout.
