I would buy one.  There's principles, sure...  But then there's the sight of an M1 with 210F75 tender racing across central PA with half a mile of hoppers.

+ 1,000,000 ... Screw principles, I am a dyed in the wool SPF!

I'd sell some of my organs to buy one.

Or better yet, four of them pulling and pushing up the Curve!

M1's and Hippoes huffing over Keating Summit!

As an aside, the round robin group I operate with had our monthly hobby shop visit this past Saturday.  After looking over the N scale offerings I wandered around and must have lingered at least 10 minutes in the HO section where they had a BLI M1, a I1sa and a K4s on display.  There was also a USRA Light Mikado labeled as PRR but I couldn't tell if it was really an L2 class or just something close.  The I1sa was listed for $250 with sound... Just for an instant I wondered how bad I'd get yelled at by the CFO if I bought it for display.   :ashat:

Resist the temptation of the evil scale. PRR in N Scale is better, if we had correct steam locomotive...  :RUEffinKiddingMe:

I clicked to see the picture.  I have two ConCor Kato S-2 locomotives from the late 1970s.  They run very fast compared to most newer steam locomotives.
They are nothing to DREAM about unless we are talking night mares. :)

By not supporting it you would lend credence to BLI/PCM's idea that Pennsy doesn't sell in N.

But it's all academic anyway, because it will never be built.

I told you one of their reps said they'd like to do the T1 in N, right?
