Ovrerall, I probably need 50-70 heads.  Not something I can purchase all at once!

Tell me about it.  I'm looking at around 100 or so total.

That could easily become an investment of $4-5K let along a whole crapload of time you don't have...

Any thought to just having a few representative signals or just do mainline block occupancy versus routing?

Don't get me wrong, 100 working PLs would be downright pornographic...but perhaps too tall an order.

Hopefully purchased over a period of time on the first concern, and that's what Gandy Dancers are for on the second! Besides, I don't mind giving the money to guys like Bernie, DKS, and Bob.

Nope.  :D

Pornographic is what I'm going for!  More specifically, functional signaling was one of the design criteria of my layout from the beginning. It is a tall order, but worth it in the end. Also, keep in mind 100 was a ballpark figure. I think the actual number that I need is less than that.

I was hoping Bob would have followed-through on this project, although I fully understand his circumstances which may have tabled it. He had indicated in that thread the desire to extend the architecture to color-light signals. What is lost is that he created the artwork and cultivated the supplier relationships, and have now left the rest of us to walk down this road all over again. Bob, if you're reading this I do hope that if you aren't going to be able to do this in the near future that you can see your way to pass the baton to a capable producer such as David.

I've just been in touch with Bob this evening. He's OK, just enduring yet another round of really ugly "real life" stuff. He says he should be back online in a week or two. Meanwhile, we plan to talk at length soon, when he gets a bit of a break from all the nastiness he's dealing with; I'll keep TRW folks informed as best I can.

Please let Bob know that he is in our thoughts and prayers.
