I just got a WKW GP-60 to strip, now I need a GP-60M & GP-60B to do my DT&I fleet in N!
I'd post a picture, but it doesn't seem to want to let me. :scared:

Just posted on FB:

"The long awaited N GP60M and B units arrived yesterday. The ATSF units will be processed first and all should be shipped by the end of this week. BNSF will go out next around Oct 1."

One well known online source posted this on the 17th...

"We have been informed that the Santa Fe engines are shipping to our suppliers. We expect them to arrive Early October 2013. The BNSF engines will arrive November 2013."

All good news but I'm not going to start holding my breath quite yet.

Exhale and smile :). . . Guess what I picked up today at the LHS . . . after a few laps around the layout, I'm very impressed.  Matt got these right!!

Smooth running, great paint and detail, good pullers...my only minor beef is that the ditch lights don't light up very bright, but I'm sure we'll figure out how to fix that.  Way to go, Matt!!!

Oh Frack!  I wasn't planning to do it, but I may just have to buy one.  The look of that coming at you on point . . . 8)

DCC?  We don't need no stinkin' DCC :). . .

I'm old school DC on my layout.  For now.

Man, I can't wait for mine...

Dave, do they come with the painted grabs to be applied by the owner?  Looks like it from the photos.

What sort of DCC install?

Matt has used the 6-pin Euro plug-ins on his previous production, and used the same "easy DCC" language on the announcements for the GP60's. Maybe I possibly jumped the gun, but I ordered TCS EUN651 decoders to be shipped with my order. Pretty safe assumption, I think.

Dave, they're gorgeous. Glad I ordered a set. Thanks for showing them in a great setting.

I'd assume much the same, there may be some coming down under to wear blue and orange so I'm curious to know....

God bless Matt. I am not picking on him. I am not trying  to be one of those damn "N scale whiners". I was noticing a lack of painted step edges on the B-unit. Does that mimic the prototype?

Update: It appears that is true on only one side of the B- unit.

Will it stop me from buying them? HELL NO!!!!!
