2-10-2 tender swap

I've got a B'mann 2-10-2 that I want to replace the long USRA tender with a medium USRA tender.
Can anyone point me to where this might have been discussed before?
Thanks.

If you use another Bachmann tender there's not really much to discuss.  They all use the same drawbar connection. (Right? I don't own every single tender type.)

You'll have to make sure the decoder from the 2-10-2 fits the medium tender, thats about the only issue I can see off the top of my head. I havent had enough of them apart to know the differences between the decoders vs. tenders.

Well, for that matter, the decoder could go.

They should fit fine just won`t have the pre installed decoder in the tender and will have to install your own in the medium or try and transfer the stock bachmann one

And then when your done with the long tender you can send it to this guy! :D :D
