SPFs beware... Hallmark Centipede on eBay

http://www.ebay.com/itm/N-SCALE-HALLMARK-BALDWIN-CENTIPEDE-PENNSYLVANIA-5812-W-ANTENNA-/140911992001?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item20cf025cc1

I guess anybody interested might have to bid against Mark (Spookshow) because he says he hasn't had one to test yet. His understanding is they are shelf queens, but I'll let you guys be the judge of that.

Got one and yes they are shelf queens.  A lot of tinkering might make them run well and I have never tried to add DCC to it.  You also better have large curves or all it will do is derail.  Also the PRR ran them in pairs and I have  only one, so it don't look right.

Not interested for all the reasons Bob stated, plus the Tuscan color.  These spent time in DGLE 5-stripe passenger service very briefly, but soon found themselves in DGLE single stripe freight paint.

Besides, I just dropped a huge chunk on a brass I1sa.

Noticed the paint also.  Mine came unpainted and I did a quick DGLE with decals and then rust and dirt.  Used to keep it on a loco deadline on my old layout.

Not interested in a shelf queen, and still banned from eBay.  :( (Opportunity cost of a T1.)
