No nice home layouts of basement empires in the Springfield Mass area. Been trying to find one for 15 years, nothing.

Yikes. Not sure how to take that. I apologize if I insulted you. I just have never heard of or seen anything private that is a larger layout within 30 minutes driving of Springfield that is near any stage of completion. I do know of one large basement layout, but that is just a plywood pacific.

no Brian
no offense intended... it was a "thank you for chiming in" and confirming there aren't any basement layouts.

I'm 55 minutes away and would be willing to open my work in progress N-scale Housatonic RR layout.  Unfortunately, I will be away the entire weekend, so it would have to be next year.

I've got to be in Rhode Island this weekend helping move furniture... Sadly it's a tight schedule so no time for goonery...  Maybe next time!

Two days till N scale Christmas!
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Actually I plan to photograph everything new and announced. I hope to be able to post it live on model160 - right Mike?

Yup!

Model:160 will keep up with the updates through the weekend and flush out post with photos as we get them.  Dan's our reporter on the ground for Sunday, and we might have some early spy shots before then too.

FVM's big announcement is already public, for instance:
