Didn't many other railroads use these?

Like B&O WM LV NYC, probably way more than that.

Yes, although they were slighly built differently.  Someone out there will hopefully tell us what other railroads used these.  They have had an HO version for a long time.

Heck, as cool as they are, I might get a set.  And I like the use of Scotch Tape for the master - there's a page from the Lee Weldon Cheapo Parts Catalogue if ever I saw one.

An observant manufacturer can always spot a business opportunity when he sees one, especially on the heels of a bus and crawler.  It's bonus that David loves this hobby so much that this topic intrigued him enough to to action.  Not only that, he proves regularly that things don't have to be over-engineered to produce something, i.e. the KISS method.

Now all of us SPF's get to benefit.  David you are my :ashat: hero.   Put me down for at least one gon full.
