What about letting the kids out into the middle of traffic?   :D

I am fairly certain that is "politically incorrect".  Consequently, both West Carroll and Oregon school districts will continue to use doors on the right side of the bus to off-load  their N-scale students.

That bus ,being 1:150 scale, is also a bit oversized. Not to mention the left-side door.  I don't thing it would be up to DKS modeling standards.

I agree with Peteski,I've actually tried to convert that very bus. After cutting it up to narrow the body and rearrange the door placement, grafting on a old '50s Busch Chevy truck nose, I realized that it would have been easier to build one from scratch. At least it would have been based on an actual prototype instead of ending up with a pseudo domestic school bus.

Most excellent, Paul! The first NZT school bus caught "in the wild."

Just received this, by the way--Daniel's take on the D2, which will be NZT's official marketing image for it:

Awesome!

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

Got a question.  Some of those photos show the tracls as yellow and others as bare metal.  Were they painted when new and the paint wore off over time?

Yes. See the images in Roger's post, above.

I was wondering when we were going to see the first one.

I am redoing mine. The signal decals did not turn out the way I wanted so I am going to mostly go with a high gloss paint pen or even drill and do jewels.
I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1

I tried to paint mine to show its age. These would have been 30-60 years old by the late 1990's, and I wanted a well worn tractor in its twilight years.

The tractors with the painted treads are strictly show models and restoration projects. I knew about John Deere finatics, but Cat fans put them to shame. Restoring a tractor is a fun garage project. Restoring a full sized D8 is a project you build the garage around.
