Didn't make it to under the tree but my first brass steamer a PRR H10 2-8-0 is on it's way

If it's the H10w that was on the bay, i passed that up because i'm promised an H8 and an H9 (both brass) in the will of a good friend of mine (along with a kadee H31 5-pack).

Happy Christmas to everyone.

Wasn't the one on the bay paid a lot less for mine than the guy on the bay wanted

Quite the snag then. I still have to source a b-mann consolidation chassis to get my kitbash under way.

Plus i still need to get my hands on one of Dapol's new panniers.

I bought myself some plaster...

... and have been making hard shell scenery (over foam), and many linear feet of rock castings the past few days.

My usual train calendar thanks to the GF. Nothing else train related as I prefer to do that shopping myself. Saw most of the family and ate more than I should have.

Thanks to the modern miracle of the Amazon Wishlist, I have racked up again this year from the wife and kids. BLMA mill gon, Atlas Middlesex manufacturing, Bowser New Haven caboose, 3 AMB laserkits for my New Haven 1930s themed oNetrak module, and a Pikestuff building for another module that models a more current time period. Great thing about the wishlist is you can put anything from any website on there. Makes for a much more satisfying gift receiving experience. Beats the heck out of ties and underwear.

6 #10 switches
5 girder bridges
2 c55 crossing
and a Kato F40PH

Went to my daughter's and son-in-law's house last night and Santa left 25 pieces of Atlas code 55 flex track there for me.  Santa was pretty good to me in the model railroad department.   Looks like even the Fat Man himself couldn't get any Atlas code 55 turnouts!

I got a compressor from the in-laws. I need it for some around the house stuff first but definitely know I'll need it for airbrushing at some point,
