Hmmm, interesting... I had the same issue with a post-2004 Atlas SD-7. Except, the universal was "split" on the shaft. Replaced it, but it is slipping again. Either split again or it was never fully seated to begin with... further investigation is needed.Mike
problems with a large number of Atlas C630's that I have... drive shafts that slip at the connection to the flywheels making movement problematic if not impossible. Pretty sure that a little targeted CA will fix the problem
Using grout is a good idea; it appears to have some real "substance" to it, and is probably fairly easy to work with(?)Mark in Oregon
I stole the idea from Ian, but yeah it is pretty easy to spread with a butter knife. I think it works better at least 1/16" thick, it doesn't spread easy when you go thinner. (then again I may have mixed it wrong?)
