So I bought this Bar mills kit:

And it is a nice kit. I didn't like the shed on the roof though  :| so I put it on the side and added a water tank:


One thing... I hate the name Pinkham's Pallet & Keg. It sounds a little bit Micky Mouse to me.

So what does this building look like it does and what should I call it?  I'd like to make a black band sign like the original, but with the new name.

Figure out what it does, what it ships and receives, how many loads per week, the tax rate it pays, union vs non union, does it have a legacy in the community and if it has environmentally sustainable practices....

Then name it after Ed............ :trollface:

Reminds me of a building I usta rent..Was "Grablick's Dairy" before it closed in the early 80's.They had a really cool car in the garage in back,a dark green/cream '47 lincoln V-12 convertible....

It's pretty small outfit.  Probably a sole proprietorship.   

I'm thinking just a name, with a nebulous and somewhat loosely defined product.

Pick your maternal grandfather's name or something like that.   J. P. Smith & Co.  Or Name & Sons.

The 1800's-1900's were hip deep in Name & Name partnerships rather than small corporations.  Branding and tradmarks were long to emerge.    First generation usually had the founders name or the partnership name on it.  Different era. 

It's great fun with the pun names, I used them myself for years, stuff like the Miracle Chair,   Boye Iyme Board Co., Tinf Oil, etc.    It gets old.   Real ones that odd (and they do exist) are a little more fun.
