You do know that the prototype wasn't introduced until 1973....  :)

Just kidding. What line are you modeling?

Don't say such untruths! I almost had a seizure.

I've made up the fictitious Thomas Mining Co. (named after my son, who has no interest in model railroading at all, but he's only 35, so I'll give him another 5 years or so). I already have 30 undec ore cars (ordered from the Atlas parts department in kit form  ;).) I'm thinking, rather that paint all those cars, I figure I'll give them a coat of clear gloss coat and put the decals on that. I like gray ore cars....

Hmm... yeah, Kiz, keep
telling yourself that...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

I'd still shoot a coat of grey on, so the color is even if nothing else.

I'm more interested to know if Atlas has put any thought into doing G39s or SP G100s.

Leggy, have you seen Allen Eck's G38, I think he also has a G39 in his sights...  You may want to contact him.

Marc Haas has the G38 nearly complete:

Mine are on their way too.

Always wanted an iron operation mixed with PA coal into Pittsburgh at one end of my someday layout...

You'll probably get them after the middle of January. They were just popped into a container last Monday I believe.

Ooh Ooh! It's almost time for the ore cars to arrive. Any more news, Paul or Cory? Like, when should dealers start receiving them?

Hmm... Kiz woke me up
for this...?

Container arrived, now we just have to complete inventory and get our new software running so we can ship.

Thanks, Paul. I hope Brooklyn Locomotive Works has my order straight, since I technically reserved the ore cars after order taking closed.

Hmm... what's Kiz gonna
do with all those Micro-
Trains bettendorf trucks
he ordered too...?
