Sarcoidosis. An auto-immune disorder that typically affects the lungs (they're trying to self-destruct in the process of attacking a non-existent infection). Bottom line, I often cough up one or both lungs when I have an episode.

Welcome to the club. I have the exact same thing. Not fun at all. Seen all the specialists between here (Washington State) and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. No cure so far. Pseudomonas Aeruginosa is in there, too - just to keep things from getting boring.

Tests confirmed he was right, and because he pegged the diagnosis, he's been the most successful at treating it, although success is a relative term. Treatment for me has been rounds of steroids accompanied by narcotic cough suppressants when it peaks. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Not to send this thread too far down this path, but this is too important not to say something.  My wife has an autoimmune disease and has been able to reverse it without the aid of doctors or medicines.

Back in the early days of N Scale Burt Industries was not that bad.    But then again in the OLD DAYS we had to walk ten miles to school in the snow and we like it  Rich

For kicks (mostly because finish work is out of the question for me), I cast one in yellow to help show the detailing.



Despite the rastering lines, hopefully it looks better than "cheap rapid prototyping" to most folks.

That looks great.  Decalling the windows, striping and related details will make it pop, and applying a orangey overspray of transparent paint will allow fine tuning the color.
