Daniel,
Stoney scaled up his Trackmaster for me from Z to N (even though I haven't finished painting it).  He'll probably do this one if enough people email him.

if you look on his site he already has made the fishbowl in N. I highly recommend you get it in FUD if you buy one.

Sarcoidosis. An auto-immune disorder that typically affects the lungs (they're trying to self-destruct in the process of attacking a non-existent infection). Bottom line, I often cough up one or both lungs when I have an episode.

Welcome to the club. I have the exact same thing. Not fun at all. Seen all the specialists between here (Washington State) and UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles. No cure so far. Pseudomonas Aeruginosa is in there, too - just to keep things from getting boring.

...No cure so far...

That's right, no cure. My GMD was the one who determined it was sarcoid and not chronic bronchitis, as other doctors had thought for years. Tests confirmed he was right, and because he pegged the diagnosis, he's been the most successful at treating it, although success is a relative term. Treatment for me has been rounds of steroids accompanied by narcotic cough suppressants when it peaks. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Not to send this thread too far down this path, but this is too important not to say something.  My wife has an autoimmune disease and has been able to reverse it without the aid of doctors or medicines.

If you're interested, I can share this off-line.

:|      Well,I guess it is time to replace the 15 years old? "Burt Industries", much cruder looking similar IH school bus model that I have had on my layout for a long time. Nate Goodman (Nato).

Nate, I think its time to replace all your Burt items. Those were awful.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Back in the early days of N Scale Burt Industries was not that bad.  :)  But then again in the OLD DAYS we had to walk ten miles to school in the snow and we like it  :D Rich

Looks great David, I have a similar one in the works. When do you expect it to be released?

By the end of the year.

For kicks (mostly because finish work is out of the question for me), I cast one in yellow to help show the detailing.

Despite the rastering lines, hopefully it looks better than "cheap rapid prototyping" to most folks.

That looks great.  Decalling the windows, striping and related details will make it pop, and applying a orangey overspray of transparent paint will allow fine tuning the color.

Wow, that's really cool. Can I change from wanting a clear version to wanting yellow again?

Hmm... no, you may not...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

That's a great model DKS.  The yellow casting really does show off the work.
