Well I know I will be looking forward to these new wheels coming out as parts from them at some time. Be nice to change out
some wheels on other engines  I have.

I may have to take pictures. I believe the worm was brass. I know the flywheel was brass but nothing really looked different than what I remember in mine. I will be back at work Sunday and I will pull it back apart and take a picture.

I just opened the box from Walthers, no need for photos. I popped one open and they are the same mech and same annoying pickup tabs attached to the walkway.

Just a new batch of loco's.

Disappointing.

Perhaps the lo-pros mean that they will not pick points and frogs on Atlas code 80 and points on B-mann EZ-TRAK switches.

Sorry guys,
Christmas shoppers had me tied down all day. We were non-stop from open till close. I'm in tomorrow and Mondays are usually a little more sane. I will try again.

No picture but yes, it has a brass worm. The worm is a seprate part from the flywheel.

Yeesh, that handrail height stripe on the Burlington unit looks nasty.  Reminds me of the cartoon with the two kids with a pea shooter and the road stripe painter.  I'd buy an undec unit and paint it myself, but they're not offering them.  :x  I think I'll stick with the Kato NW2.  The lover-less phase Kato chose actually matches the specific loco I want.  Even though I'll have to strip and repaint a model, I can do #9211 with the block "Burlington" lettering rather than an "Everywhere West" logo-ed unit, which will likely never get released, being the oddball it was.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
