I permanently installed the trestle that I built over the last few weekends.



If you look close at the bottom left of the picture above, you can make out the primed fascia.  I'm heading to the basement to put a coat of color on the fascia.  I'll post a picture later, to see if anyone thinks I chose the right color.

Between last weekend being in Charleston, SC for a 24 hour scenario paintball game and this weekend spending time with in-laws, I didn't get  a whole heck of alot done.  I did manage to place some more trees and bushes to help thicken up and add height to the scene.

Here's an update, left and right side of SP&S #604 (I think that's going to be the number)  class C-1 4-4-2.
I have started getting all the appliances on there.  It's starting to come to life!
Jason's (superturbine) pipe hangers came along not a moment too soon.

No, a 240 foot radius is 18 inch radius in N scale, so close to what many modelers (including me) use for mainlines.  On the other hand, models usually take much sharper curves than the prototype, so a 9 inch radius here wouldn't be inappropriate on a layout generally using broader curves.

Got Track 4 completed from SLOPE uphill to Gallitzin and back down to Spruce Creek...

Still have to do the "level" bits between SLOPE and Spruce Creek. After that, only three more tracks to go!
