Just another train off the OML at St Denis except it had as least 7 Conrail boxcars and several Chessie boxcars trailing.

today, I am kicking myself for NOT bringing my camera...within 15 minutes, 2 through freights, a local powered by a pair of GP40-2's, a CP "Canada" covered hopper, a N de M covered hopper, a UP covered hopper with MKT reporting marks, a MP flatcar and a freaking Western Pacific open hopper......

On 9/22 I caught an oil train approaching Marysville; interestingly enough shots of this very same train, taken in Allentown (?) showed up on railroad.net a couple of days later.

This past weekend, I got extremely lucky and caught a Finger Lakes Ry train at Glenora NY. I think it might be a U23B on the point.

Closed out the weekend getaway with a sidetrip to the WCOR at Tioga Jct.

Late again. My last shot of the last revenue Ontario Northland 'Northlander'. We got a bit of luck and managed to get a fairly decent location and some nice light. Some grab shots work and in this case, road traffic meant that it was our last chance to nail it... one can not keep up with a 70mph passenger train whilst grinding in traffic on a one lane road  :(

It was a fun and interesting train and will be missed.

Good catch, Mike! Remember this is now a month long thread, so you're never "late."
