1st H-10 castings-
Color adjustment looks a little strange but is to show detail.

DING DING DING! Winner! I'm definitely good for a couple of these. Just out of curiosity, do you have any plans to do an "unbeautified" headlamp arrangement? I only ask because if you do, I'll wait for those. If not, these will more than fit the bill!

So before I jump on the bandwagon, is this something that will fit an existing Bachmann loco?
What must be done to it?

Yeah, loaded question. Sorry. heh

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

I am curious about this too. I'd love one of those. I'd REALLY love one of the as-built ones though...

Oh, man, THIS after I just won a brass I1sa 2-10-0 on the 'bay...  Might be time to sell off all of my Conrail and go 100% Pennsy steam!!!

 :D

I'm in for at least one!

I don't suppose you have a Bachmann 2-8-0 upon which to test fit it?  It does look like you've got the correct boiler diameter; one of the challenges of fitting a Minitrix boiler on anything else is how narrow the boiler is and how much you have to ream out to fit it over the chassis.

Pretty nice work for someone who still claims he's not a Pennsy guy.....the cast quality is amazing.  Has to be seen in person to really appreciate it.

Thanks Everyone,
Dave.... Steam, there is not substitute!

Lemo- I know you love the Pain!

This will be the last new boiler for a while I need to catch up on things........... Like the T1,M4, 4-12-2, EF1 and 2-10-2's

Perhaps this answers the other questions.......

That looks great!

How does the boiler height above the rails compare to the prototype?

Looks to be spot on.  Ok maybe 3 inches too high.
