1st of the castings.  There are some minor flaws that should clear up with additional castings.

Boiler is more than half the battle! Two hudsons... Tender drive... With a boiler now available perhaps someone will come up with the other half.  Hans, Marc what say YOU?

Aside from the J class, the T1 is my favorite Pennsy steamer and favorite "steamliner". I'm not sure how I would build a duplex drive for it, but I would definitely buy a few.

Wonder if we could power them with "Northern" mechanisms. I read somewhere that the PRR was planning to do just that, rebuild the 4-4-4-4 as a 4-8-4. Would that be a T2 or a T1m?

Anyway, I like it...Great job!

Thanks. I like what Max has done, but I'm not sure I could pull it off without destroying two Hudson's altogether.  Are the two motors different because he used two versions of the Hudson?  I'm looking at the NTrak page right now for the NTrak Steam Locomotive Information Book to read his article. Ouch! $66 for the whole set.

That C&O "Texas" sounds interesting too...Possible Pennsy J1?

She turned out just as I was expecting, looks exact as the plans ------------------------ (-;
Now lets work out plans for a Pennsy Skydome Observation, also a Pennsy Steam Turbine !
I have some other ideas rattleing around in my head for molds as well.

I was under the impression from some things I read that the Pennsy did not own dome cars. Do you info about a PRR "Skydome" or are you hoping for a Milwaukee Road repaint?

Wow, that's phenomenal!  Can't wait to see how the mechanism comes out.  Wondering if DCC is an option with whatever mech you use...

And yes, PRR never used dome cars because of tight clearances under the catenary in the Hudson and East River tunnels.  But that's not to say it can't be freelanced...!

I thought he meant these "Skydomes"...

Of course they are not really "dome" cars, but they might look good in PRR tuscan. How about "BROADWAY" etched into the stainless?

Now that you opened the freelance can of worms I feel almost justified for the thought of running DL109's...But then again, they make great platforms for freelanced BP20's .
