Just about done drawing up a truss bridge in CAD for scratch building I got all the inner web members finished as far as lacing bars go (using Gold Metal models w and and x lacing bars which are really awesome etched detail parts) I glue these using zap a gap to two pieces of 1/32 " x 1/8" K&S metal flat bar held 1/16" apart by small pieces of K&S tube stock cut to 1/4" lengths making the columns see through. Hope to post pictures soon.

Since those are N scale cars behind him, the dude must be from the Land of Oz.

Hey Mister, are those really large model trains on that layout, or are you just happy to post on this forum?

(Notice that his handle is "TomsGroup", not "crew" like the rest of the mere mortals on the forum. I have feeling that this Mister is special  8) ).

Sweet NP steam max.......very nicely done....Looking forward to seeing just what layith under that trestle.....

Thanks man!  It wasn't too hard a conversion.  Andrew Hegstad did it first and led the way, so I just followed his examples.   I would be most interested to know what bridge you are talking about.  I had no specific prototype in mind when I built it.  It just had to fit my terrain!

Coosvalley,

Great looking cars, layout, and photography. All aspects are very well executed.

Best wishes, Dave

Thanks Dave, but I have to admit it is a photo diorama/test track. I took it outdoors and let the sun do the lighting, and some backyard trees added to the effect......

Anyhoo, Thanks for the compliment!......... :D

Got to see the Nebraska Zephyr roll through on an Illinois Railway Museum excursion on the BNSF main west of Aurora, IL.

Too bad the nose contours are all wrong!

Not only are the nose contours all wrong it is also 1.5 scale feet to long and a 1 scale foot too short.  I bet it doesn't even have a five pole motor, probably three.  The scenery is also horrible.  Not at all to scale or very realistic looking!!

Those trees are horrible, it looks like he got them off ebay.
